What is an Imagineer ?
Hi my name is Leon Bernard , I'm 30 years old and have been in the imagination business for 3 years . My god given talent to think outside the box has guided me through many different paths and has been the main ingredient in my success. Sooooo....What is an Imagineer ?
My girlfriend came up with this term one day during a discussion, and it has been stuck in my head since then. I like it, in fact I love it. So being the IMAGINEER that I am I have set out to define it . In my world , it speaks to me as the definition of an individual , a person who works outside the realms of reality, and is willing to push creativity beyond the boundaries set by society and it's basic construct. Imagineers are the one's who produce the ideas that help shift and re shape environments,they operate in many different fields and are forever asking the question, why, or in some cases why not?
In my research , I have come across many person's who I think can be labelled Imagineers. For example; Albert Einstein, Bill Gates, Bruce Lee and a couple others. In my own country (Trinidad and Tobago) I have been currently reading articles in an effort to pin point some recognized persons in the professional realm that show the characteristics of this term.
I know many other's like me exist out there. This blog has been started , to highlight these people, and stimulate discussion, you are invited to add your perspectives and participate in this communal learning experience.
